What is the Engineering Student Offer? The Engineering Student Offer (ESO) offers reduced premiums to engineering students who purchase personal disability insurance. Students who purchase personal disability insurance under the ESO will qualify for a 25% reduced premium, which will also apply to any future coverage purchased using the Future Income Option (FIO) rider. To be eligible for this offer, students must complete a simplified application.
